Bud Light Sales Have Officially Plunged In Every Corner Of The Country – OutKick

The raging bud light boycott is now officially spread to every corner of the country.

That’s right – nowhere is safe! Oh, thought you could walk into a bar in the Liberal Northeast and quietly sip a Bud Light? nope Surely the People’s Republic of California wouldn’t dare boycott such a big deal, would it?

Incorrect!

A newly released map – courtesy of Fox News – shows how far the bud-light boycott has spread, and I’m not sure any amount of masking or social distancing will fix that problem.

Bud Light sales plummet across the country

Like last month’s Bud Light and Anheuser-Busch sales numbers, there’s a lot of red there. In fact, everything is red!

In the West, the decline is down 18% and in the Rocky Mountain States, it’s down a whopping 29%. Goodness. Take another 25% in my area in the great, big, beautiful state of Florida and even 14% and 19% in the liberal Northeast.

It is becoming increasingly clear that this problem is far from solved for Bud Light.

man you think

The April beer sales figures were released earlier this week and it was an absolute bloodbath.

Almost every single beer in the country that is NOT under the Anheuser-Busch umbrella has seen massive spikes over the last month, while AB has been consistently in the red.

Bud Light's April sales fall while Miller and Coors rise.

According to Beer Business Daily, Anheuser-Busch volumes fell over 12% last month, led by Dylan Mulvaney’s flagship Bud Light, which fell a staggering 21.4%.

As if BL wasn’t bad enough, two days after those numbers were released, Coors Banquet released a new commercial celebrating the 150th anniversary in the anti-Bud Light way. Amazingly, it went viral.

Add to that the fact that people at Anheuser-Busch are tossed all over the place and now, six weeks AFTER first working with Mulvaney, it’s a mess.

Not good!

I know AB CEO Michel Doukeris said last week he sees some light at the end of the tunnel, but I just don’t see it.

Maybe someone should show him this handy card for the next conference call?
