AFL WAGJesinta Franklin has broken her silence after husband Lance “Buddy” Franklin’s contract extension at the Sydney Swans in the eleventh hour.
Buddy, 35, shocked fans on Monday night when the Swans appeared to confirm he will remain at the club next year, sharing a succinct statement that read: “One more #Bloods.”
Jesinta posted on Instagram hours later that she had a “big work week” ahead of her as she flew from Sydney to Melbourne for the AFL Grand Final.

‘Made to Melbourne. A big week of work, fun, conferences, family time…. Oh, and a grand finale,” the 31-year-old mother-of-two wrote while posing at Melbourne Airport.
Jesinta, who recently received her AFL player management accreditation, looked effortlessly chic in a $1,588 designer trench coat.
The model carried a pair of large Louis Vuitton suitcases valued at $5000 each and complemented her look with a black baseball cap, Nike sneakers and a $500 leather handbag.

It comes as the Swans enjoy an unexpected resurgence ahead of the Grand Final after Franklin announced he will remain at the club in 2023.
Franklin’s $10 million nine-year contract with the Swans expires at the end of the season and the 35-year-old’s future has long been the subject of speculation.
However, the two-time Premiership winner put an end to the rumors himself on Monday night with a succinct two-word statement that simply said: “One more thing.”

The bombshell came after months of speculation that Franklin could either retire or end his nine-year tenure at Sydney to play for another club.
Earlier last month, the Herald Sun reported that the Swans felt they “almost” agree to a 12-month extension with the AFL superstar and were “surprised” by reports Franklin had been linked to a move.
The four-time Coleman medalist pondered his future after the Swans put forward an offer of $500,000 a year, a significant reduction from Franklin’s current deal, which is expected to be in the region of $800,000 a season.

Franklin’s announcement Monday night closely followed the format of basketball legend Michael Jordan’s message when he returned to the Chicago Bulls in 1995, in which he simply announced, “I’m back.”
However, the words “One More” also left some fans confused as they tried to figure out exactly what those words referred to.
Some fans weren’t sure if it meant Franklin would play for another season or just one more game — meaning he’d quit after Saturday’s Grand Final.

“One more game or one more year? He looks so invested in this group and this club. And still plays well. But wouldn’t it be amazing to leave the big stage with yet another Premier League? wrote Florian Christoph.
Others were more blunt, writing: “Game, season or flag?!?” and “ONE MORE GAME OR ONE MORE YEAR” – and another joked: “Great that he’s signed on for another decade! Brave move by the swans.’
