It took some time, but at least the energy minister called for an investigation by the Competition Bureau and summoned gasoline retailers because there was evidence of unusually high prices in Quebec. Vigilant, the member for Beauce-Sud, got the ball rolling by calling for an investigation into his sector last summer.
