At least 25 people died in a bus accident in Peru today. According to the police, the bus with 60 passengers fell on a rock for reasons still unknown. The accident happened in the region of Piura, north of the capital Lima.
Several wounded were taken to hospitals in El Alto and Mancora, police said, without naming the number of wounded. Several passengers were thrown through the bus’s windows in the accident, others were trapped inside the vehicle.
