At least 12 dead and 58 injured. This is the result of the tragic accident that occurred on Tuesday in Mexico, in which a bus fell off a bridge on the highway in the state of Veracruz. The accident occurred on the route between the towns of La Tinaja and Acayucan in southern Mexico. The scene that unfolded before the eyes of the rescuers was terrible: bodies were thrown from the vehicle and landed on the asphalt, others were trapped between the metal sheets
According to an initial reconstruction by the National Guard, the cause of the accident was an error by the driver, who fell asleep and climbed onto the traffic island and then fell off the bridge.
Security sources said dozens of injured people were transported to hospitals in Veracruz and at least seven of them are in serious condition.
