As determined by g1The singer Alexandre Pires was taken to the PF headquarters in Santos on Monday morning (4), interviewed and released. He is suspected of receiving at least R$1 million from a mining company under investigation for an illegal mining financing and logistics scheme. The Report contacted representatives for the singer and Possebon but did not receive a response as of the publication of this report.
O g1 noted that search and seizure warrants were carried out on properties owned by Alexandre Pires in Uberlândia and Itapema.
The police department also confirmed the kidnapping of more than R$130 million by the suspects, but did not name them. As for the approach to the singer Alexandre Pires and the businessman, the report states that no searches were carried out inside the cruise ship, but only after disembarkation.

The operation is an offshoot of a PF operation launched in January 2022 when 30 tons of cassiterite were seized from Yanomami indigenous lands. The ore was in the warehouse of the headquarters of an investigated company and was being prepared for shipment abroad.
The police investigation suggests that the scheme aims to “wash” cassiterite illegally removed from TIY, with the ore declared as coming from a regular mine on the Tapajós River in Itaituba, Pará and supposedly transported to Roraima for treatment.

Research suggests that the dynamic would only be on paper as the ore would come from Roraima State itself.
According to the PF, financial transactions have been identified that affect the entire production chain of the system, with the presence of aircraft pilots, gas stations, mining machinery and equipment stores and oranges to cover up fraudulent transactions.
