Businessman Vincent Guzzo is brought to justice. He faces charges of harassment and non-compliance, our Bureau of Investigations and QUB radio learned.
The 54-year-old man, boss of Guzzo Cinemas, appeared at the Montreal courthouse on Sunday to be formally charged with two felonies. He pleaded not guilty.
He then spent the night of Sunday in detention before being released at the Laval courthouse on Monday.
According to our information, the alleged acts occurred in a marital context. Terrebonne Police conducted the investigation.
The criminal harassment alleged against Guzzo, if proven, is punishable by a maximum of ten years’ imprisonment.

A colorful character, Vincent Guzzo has made a name for himself over the past decade for his participation in CBC’s Dragons’ Den and Radio-Canada’s Dans l’œil du Dragon.
In 2020, he had also been working on presenting his candidacy for the presidency of the Conservative Party of Canada before backing down.
He is also known for his regular contributions to the media and film industry.
