President Jair Bolsonaro (PL), who has remained silent since his secondround defeat, has been advised by the socalled “hate office” to sign any document that could disrupt the transition, with the aim of creating problems for the future government of Presidentelect Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT).

With Bolsonaro needing help and the Centrão getting further and further away, his ear was dominated by ‘assistants’. They are reportedly advocating a “bic pen operation” that would complicate the transition from the Bolsonaro government to the new Lula government.

This Monday (29th), after a meeting with vice presidentelect and head of the transitional government Geraldo Alckmin (PSB), current vicepresident and Senatorelect Hamilton Mourão (Republican) stated that Bolsonaro had not participated in the process of transition between governments, but said that “everything is fine”.

“Everything is going well,” the general claimed when discussing Bolsonaro’s lack of involvement in his final days as president.

Unlike his predecessors in the presidency, the current chief executive has never received the presidentelect to discuss the next government, let alone to acknowledge the PT’s victory.

On the other hand, Lula’s interim cabinet decided to take the Bolsonaro government to court after detecting signs of abuse of economic power in the elections. The Presidentelect’s team identified 2.5 million people without the necessary criteria shortly before the election, who were included in the Auxílio Brasil.

Not only does Bolsonaro’s silence concern his defeat, the president will also not attend the Mercosur summit taking place in Uruguay next week. With less than a month in office, Bolsonaro will miss his last opportunity to attend an international diplomatic event as head of state.

This Thursday (1st), the Chief Executive attended the promotion ceremony of five Army General Officers in Brasília. During the event, the President looked visibly uncomfortable. The representative did not speak or speak to the press.

It was Bolsonaro’s second public appearance on the official agenda after his defeat in the second round of the presidential election. Bolsonaro has avoided being seen by even his closest supporters and only resumed official activities this week, almost a month after the election result.

Despite the short remaining term of less than a month, the former captain still has the “Bic pen” and could eventually disrupt the start of a new government. According to G1 journalist Andréia Sadi, the fact that Bolsonaro is in prison does not necessarily mean that the president has become a peaceful person.
