Caitlyn Jenner didn’t mean to overshadow Kim K… “Calculated” comment isn’t what it seems

Caitlyn Jenner I didn’t try to shoot him Kim Kardashian When she said the mogul “calculated” her path to fame, her comments were actually part of a larger convo in which she proudly spoke about Kim.

Here’s the deal: Caitlyn appears in the trailer for the upcoming documentary House of Kardashian, which delves deep into the family’s rise to fame. In the first look, which debuted last week, Caitlyn says: “From the beginning, Kimberly was thinking, ‘How do I become famous?'”

Although it seemed like a dig, sources close to Caitlyn tell TMZ … that her use of the word “calculated” wasn’t the best choice, but Kim has already been told she didn’t mean it as a dissident.

We’re told that the explanation given to Kim after the trailer was released was that Cait’s words were edited to make them seem more controversial than they actually were…it’s an advertisement after all.

A source added: “Caitlyn is proud of Kim and thinks what was shown in the 40-second clip does not reflect her actual intentions when she sat down to talk about her ex-wife and children .”

Caitlyn only took part in the Sky-produced series, so she has no creative control over what makes it into the final cut of her interview… but we’re told she’s agreed to speak to producers to get a positive one To give voice to defend their family’s legacy.

By the way, we’re told that Cait and Kim are on good terms now that the dust has settled. If anyone understands the power of editing, it’s the Kardashians, so…no harm, no foul.
