At least three people were killed and four others injured in a shooting in the California area early Saturday morning, according to Sgt. Frank Preciado of the Los Angeles Police Department. This is the fourth mass shooting in the region this month.
The sergeant confirmed the shooting happened just after 2:30 a.m. local time in Beverly Crest, an upscale neighborhood in Los Angeles.
Of the seven people who were shot, four were outside. The three dead were in a vehicle. However, her identity has not been disclosed. The injured were taken to hospital and are in critical condition.
Preciado said he still has no information about what motivated the shooting or if it took place in an apartment building.
