Cameron Diaz was every bit the hands-on mom as she carried her daughter Raddix on a rare family trip with husband Benji Madden in Montecito.

The “Charlie’s Angels” star looked casually chic in an all-black ensemble that consisted of a black button-down shirt, matching pants, and a $1,490 fanny pack.

When asked how she deals with the difficult moments, the mother-of-one admitted that she has a “checklist” that she works through.
“Did she eat? Is she tired? What time is it? When was the last time she ate? When did she sleep? “You just start there and ask yourself, ‘What just happened?’ Is there something she wants to tell me?” the actress explained.
“And I feel like my job as a mother is just to help her put into words her feelings, her experiences and what she’s going through and help her recognize that and get through it.”
Still, Cameron admitted that moments like these can be “challenging.”
She added: “But you know what’s really essential – fix it.” Like if you blow up just to fix that and be like, “Oh my God, mommy lost her shit.” And: ” I didn’t want to tell you that.”
“If I hurt your feelings or upset you, I just want you to know that mom is human too.”‘
