Cameron Diaz has responded to rumors that Jamie Foxx's behavior caused her to quit acting for a second time.
The duo stars in the upcoming Netflix action comedy Back in Action. This is the “Charlie's Angels” actress' first film since 2014's “Annie,” which also starred Jamie Foxx. The two stars also starred in Sunday Hell in 1999.

Filming suffered a major setback when the 56-year-old actor was hospitalized for a mysterious medical emergency towards the end of filming in April this year. However, Cameron Diaz categorically denied subsequent rumors that she left the sets again because Jamie Foxx was “crazy” on set.
“I really hate everything that was said about our shoot back then,” the 51-year-old star said on the latest episode of Molly Sims' Lipstick on the Rim podcast. You want to scream at the top of your lungs: “What are you talking about?” Jamie is the cheerleader of the entire team. Everyone loves him. We have so much fun with him on set and he is a professional in every way.”

Reacting to the rumors, Cameron Diaz claimed the opposite was true and that she had “a lot of fun” working with her former colleague.
“Jamie is the best. I love this guy so much. He’s such a special person and he’s so talented, he’s so much fun,” she said. The hiccups that occurred during filming are natural, but nothing was delayed, except towards the end of course. And it’s not my place to talk about it.”
She added that Jamie Foxx is doing much better now and assured her that they both knew the truth about their working relationship.
“When I see and hear people trying to belittle another person like that… (Jamie is) so noble. He said, “No. Let them talk.’ And yet it really made me angry,” Cameron Diaz added.
