Charlotte is shocked to see the wig – she says she thought he would return the hairpiece – but he shyly admits he likes the hair.
Evan has spoken in the past about his hair falling off in a tragedy.
At the age of 24, Evan was told he was dying when he was diagnosed with two bouts of leukemia, which led to four brutal rounds of conventional chemotherapy, two bone marrow harvests and a bone marrow transplant.
The cancer caused hair loss, after which his hair stopped growing.

The star initially wore wigs to cover up her hair loss, but revealed she saw hair loss as a small price to pay once her life was in danger.
He said, “I didn’t say that.” [a wig] I’m still around and would love to work with them more, but I’m known for my looks now…
“I hoped my hair would grow back for a long time, but when it became clear it wouldn’t, I shaved off whatever was growing there.”
In 2021, Evan shared a snap from 1987 before his hair loss on Instagram, admitting he knows people are “fascinated” by pictures of him with hair.
In a caption, he wrote, “People seem fascinated by pictures of me with hair so here’s one from 1987 or so.” A veteran of numerous Broadway productions and the films #Taps and #TheChosen, this happened right after the shooting of “Sweet Lorraine”.
“My hair had grown back after massive #chemotherapy for #aml (acute myeloid leukemia) but had not yet suffered defeat from the #bone marrow transplant still to come in 1989.”
