“I met Joan when I was a teenager and in 1967 we worked together on a film called Warning Shot.
“She later played a guest role in Hart to Hart.” She is one of the greatest survivors I have ever known and an inspiration to us all.”
This comes after Stefanie appeared radiant and much younger than her age in a very rare public appearance ahead of her 81st birthday last year.
The veteran actress, who rose to fame opposite Robert Wagner in the ABC television series Hart To Hart, has retreated from the spotlight over the years and now lives a low-key lifestyle in Los Angeles.
But in October, the TV star stepped out to enjoy the sun after emerging alone from an office building in LA.
The reclusive star keeps a low profile these days, but occasionally shares photos of herself and other life updates on social media.

Earlier this year, she shared a photo from a rare public appearance in April when she attended an awards ceremony in Germany.

The octogenarian is best known for her role as Jennifer Hart in the mystery TV series, which earned her two Primetime Emmy Awards from 1979 to 1984.
The show follows self-made millionaire Jonathan – played by Wagner – and freelance writer Jennifer – Powers – a world-traveling married couple with a talent for finding secrets everywhere.
