Students at a Canadian high school are still facing fierce bomb threats – months after pictures of their transgender shop teacher sporting gigantic fake breasts first went viral.
Oakville Trafalgar High School in Ontario has received multiple bomb threats and gun violence warnings since late last year, when the saga broke out in which teacher Kayla Lemieux wore Z-cup prosthetics to teach classes.
“For some of the kids it’s just become a part of their day because there’s been so many bomb threats, which in itself is terrifying,” Oakville parent Celina Close told The Post this week.
“During the school day, teachers look for bombs in the classroom, look under desks, and open folders.”

The latest threat was anonymously posted online on Wednesday, acting principal Steve Oliver said in an email notification to parents.
“Our school has received an anonymous threat online – we understand this is worrying and appreciate your concerns,” the alert read.
“Classes will continue as planned and Halton emergency protocols will be followed as we proceed cautiously.”
The threat was titled “We have planted multiple bombs all over your school” and was specifically aimed at Lemieux and two other school officials, according to the National Post.

Another layer of mystery was added to the story this week when a neighbor told the Post that Lemieux rarely wears prosthetic breasts outside of school and has been photographed in male clothing while running errands.
Rishi Bandhu, a lawyer whose ninth grader attends the school, described the Lemieux clothing saga as extremely “disturbing”.
“I can say that for parents who did not expect to send their children into a learning environment characterized by chaos, controversy and improperly dressed teachers, this has been extremely draining and disruptive,” he told the Post.
“It’s not the learning environment I want my children to have, although I have no problem with transgender teachers. You just have to be professionally dressed.”
Bandhu dismissed Lemieux’s giant prosthetic breasts as “fetish clothing,” adding that it was an “over-the-top expression of style.”
“It confuses and distracts children and is potentially detrimental to their sexual maturity. It doesn’t belong in a school – it can be worn during one’s private time, in a bar, club or any other place that doesn’t require a professional dress code.”

A warning sent by the school to parents on November 17 specifically mentioned a threat of “bomb and gun violence.” The school was acknowledged as the subject of “considerable attention” after photos of Lemieux in the classroom made international headlines.
“The threats received today, yesterday and throughout September were sent by people who emailed threats to create a sense of unease and fear,” the email alert reads.
“We are also aware of the fact that given the significant media attention these threats may be the result of copycats. The unfortunate choice of individuals to intentionally harass and intimidate others is abuse and an erosion of personal safety and trust.”
Oakville Trafalgar High School in Ontario has received multiple bomb threats after images of transgender teacher Kayla Lemieux went viral.
After the school received a bomb threat on December 15, parents received a notification that the building was under 24-hour surveillance.
Police cars have been spotted in front of the school on several occasions in recent months.
Still, the school has repeatedly tried to reassure concerned parents by issuing several warnings telling them they “believe these threats are not credible and are based on hateful mischief rather than high risk”.
“As our school continues to receive anonymous online threats, we understand this is very worrying and appreciate your concerns,” the alerts continued.
The Halton Regional Police Service did not immediately respond to The Post on Friday regarding the threats.
The constant threats against the school come as the Halton Borough School Board continues to stir up outrage for allowing Lemieux to remain in the classroom while wearing her giant prosthetic breasts.
Students in the Halton School District were also “threatened with suspension” if caught taking photos or videos of the store teacher.
