The Montreal Canadiens were scheduled to practice at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Amalie Arena in Tampa, but the session was pushed back three hours because the team was behind schedule that day.

Habs players must return to work after mandatory National Hockey League furlough. In their last game on Friday, they suffered a 4-2 loss to the Dallas Stars. The Bleu-Blanc-Rouge will look to end a two-game losing streak by visiting the Lightning on Wednesday. A clash with the Florida Panthers is also scheduled for Thursday.
