A Canadian woman who drove drunk, lost control of her car and crashed into a house in 2019, igniting a massive gas explosion that devastated a neighborhood in London, Ontario, is reportedly suing the concert venue that served her alcohol.

During the trial, according to CBC, it was revealed that Leis was driving home from a Marilyn Manson concert at Budweiser Gardens on Aug. 14, 2019 when she made a wrong turn on Queen’s Avenue before she ran into a house in the Woodman Avenue was driving.

The crash resulted in the brick home’s gas line being severed.

The incident forced the evacuation of 100 homes, with a dozen homes damaged and three of those homes suffering significant damage and being demolished.

Leis alleges in her lawsuit that Ovations or her employees served her alcohol “when they knew or should have known she was drunk or about to become drunk,” CBC reported.

The lawsuit also alleges that the company failed to provide properly trained bouncers to monitor the intoxication of people leaving, Ovations failed to verify her “intended mode of transportation” when she left in an intoxicated state, and the staff kicked her out of the venue without making sure she wouldn’t drive home.
