The 25-year-old rookie had a blast in the Skills competition, excelling in the Fastest Skater, Hardest Shot and Breakaway events.

Kovacevic also asked the crowd to cheer him on, saying a public practice session in a nearly full amphitheater helped pros “remember why we play hockey.”

“An event like today gives me a good sign that I’m part of the team now, that I feel good here. […] Now I’m bringing something to this group and that’s important for my confidence,” explained the defender.

” [Les cours de français offerts par le Canadien] are all right, he said in Molière’s language. I’m doing my best, but I have to practice a lot. »
