Canceled tour: Lena Meyer-Landrut apologizes to fans

“I feel a responsibility towards you and I don’t feel safe enough to play with a full production in crowded, crowded halls due to the ongoing corona pandemic,” the 30-year-old musician said on Instagram on Monday. “My feeling is: the time is not yet ripe.”

The “More Love Tour”, originally planned for 2020, was scheduled to start in Leipzig on June 2nd. Participation in festivals in Hannover and Mannheim was also planned. “As we don’t play the tour, unfortunately it makes absolutely no sense to play it in terms of economics, content and environment, which hurts and saddens me a lot.”

The former ESC winner also apologized to her fans on her Instagram story for having “a piece of normalcy back”: “It’s not an easy decision for me.”
