The Washington Capitals defeated the Seattle Craken on Saturday night, extending their winning streak to a haughty two games. The Washingtons didn’t look as dominant as they did against the Carolinas the other day, but the powerplay worked for them, which is well worth it.
Tom Wilson pushed us to victory with a great shot from Ovechkin. A one-shot shot by Dmitry Orlov made the score 2-0, but Seattle scored when Joonas Donskoy took advantage of a good rebound at the end of the first period.
At the start of Game 2, Colin Blackwell equalized as Washington’s defense made it easier for him. Conor Sheary’s hard work in the paint got him a powerplay goal and restored Washington’s lead, which Ovechkin extended in the third period with another powerplay goal from Ovi’s point. Shiri was carried in an empty net.

- Slam on the brakes for a moment: Washington couldn’t repeat their five-on-five success in the Carolina game. Seattle made 70 percent of attempts in the first period and 60 percent in the second. In the third period, they had a 10-minute break in shooting 🐢. But at least the scoreboard worked.
- Replacing another Swede with nice beautiful hair, Axel Jonsson-Fjallby got a bunch of dissenting looks at this. Like Carl Hagelin, he failed to convert them.
- At the other end of the microstat sheet, Martin Fehervari it was another bad night, replayed from twenty to five. He was quite violent for almost two months.
- With his Ovi Shot from Ovi Spot Alexey Ovechkin He is now two goals behind Jaromir Jagr. Kraken goaltender Chris Dredger became 154th goalkeeper give a goal to Ovechkin.

I think it was a fun game, but I wasn’t very excited about the Caps playing equally. The Seattle team is obviously not very good, but Washington let them dictate the pace of the game.
Anyway. Now the Capitals are heading to the thaw north to play the road series against Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver. I expect that soon we will hear exclamations against Ovechkin. Pick up anything.
