Our American counterparts may have claimed the lion’s share of the accolades at Sunday night’s 95th Annual Academy Awards, but Britain made sure it was well represented – and well-endowed – at the Vanity Fair Oscars party that followed.
Cara Delevingne topped a British-leaning guest list at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills and looked stunning in an ethereal floor-length gown as she posed for an obligatory photoshoot.
The model and actress, 30, firmly drew a line under a turbulent two-year period with what is arguably her most glamorous public appearance since confirming she entered inpatient rehabilitation in 2022 to battle drug and alcohol addiction.
She was joined by Lily James, who inevitably drew attention in a sweeping powder pink dress with fringe detailing as she greeted onlookers outside the venue.
Featuring an off-the-shoulder detail, the gown made Lily, 33, stand out despite not being nominated in any of this year’s categories.
The actress opted for limited-edition accessories and tastefully applied makeup, chosen from a natural color palette, and looked every inch the graceful Hollywood star as she mingled with a star-studded guest list at the celebratory event.

Elsewhere, Sienna Miller claimed her own share of the spotlight in a tasteful sleeveless gown with a delicate floral print detail.
The model and actress, 41, complemented her look with a modest handbag, while statement earrings and a generous amount of makeup completed her recent red carpet appearance.
Making her own presence felt, Daisy Edgar-Jones turned heads in a revealing sheer gown that fully bared her nude underwear as she joined guests on the red carpet.
The Normal People star, 24, drew further attention to her body by paring down her accessories, a decision that allowed an already striking dress to take center stage.
Kate Beckinsale also looked sensational while attending the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty at The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills on Sunday.
The actress, 49, looked sensational as she graced the red carpet in a stunning gown with sheer panels.
Adorned with black sequins, the eye-catching strapless garment hugged her lithe figure, while sheer panels at the skirt and a thigh-high slit showcased her tanned and toned pins, which she extended with a pair of towering heels.
To add to the glamour, the mother-of-one wore a voluminous silver cape that trailed behind her as she stormed the red carpet.
New chapter: Cara firmly drew a line under a tumultuous two-year period with arguably her most glamorous public appearance since confirming she entered inpatient rehabilitation in 2022
Beautiful: Cara commanded the lion’s share of attention on the red carpet on a night dominated by America’s triumph at the Oscars
Looking good: With an off-the-shoulder detail, Lily’s evening dress made sure she stood out, despite the actress not being nominated in any of this year’s categories
Ellie Goulding looked equally stunning in a backless dress at Vanity Fair’s A-list Oscars soiree.
The singer, 33, wore a raven dress with a train that flowed elegantly from beneath her as she walked the red carpet at the Wallis Annenberg Center.
The top half of the mesmerizing dress hugged her incredible figure closely while still allowing her to reveal her enviable complexion with a center cutout.
The collar of the dress was gathered by a jeweled rose adding some sparkle to the ensemble, while flawless natural makeup and a nude lip emphasized her features.
After dying her bombshell locks in November, Ellie pulled her now brunette tresses into a simple low ponytail to let the incredible dress stand out.
Meanwhile, Jodie Turner-Smith turned heads in a floor-length, fitted dress that inevitably drew attention to her lithe frame.
The British actress, 36, was joined by husband Jackson, 44, and the Canadian star looked appropriately dressed in a black tuxedo suit and matching polished dress shoes.

Florence Pugh was in high spirits as she fooled around at the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty on Sunday.
The Oxford-born actress, 27, attracted attention as she walked the red carpet at the Wallis Annenberg Center in Beverly Hills after attending the ceremony.
While posing for snaps, she spotted Best Actress winner Michelle Yeoh, 60, and was quick to congratulate the star on her win and give her a warm hug.
Florence had ditched the showy dress she wore earlier in the night and opted for another quirky ensemble as she prepared to party the night away.
The blonde bombshell looked incredible in a black bralet with rose detailing on the cups that showed off her toned figure.
Also in attendance was Andrea Riseborough, who shared a sweet moment with boyfriend Karim Saleh as they attended the Vanity Fair party in Beverly Hills on Sunday.
The British star, 41, lost to Michelle Yeoh for best actress earlier in the night but didn’t seem to harbor any bad feelings when she arrived at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts.
It’s been a roller coaster awards season for Andrea, who found herself in the midst of a Hollywood scandal when she received surprising recognition for the little-known drama To Leslie.
The nod for her nomination came after the film was promoted by the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Winslet and Edward Norton — despite making just $22,000 at the box office.
But Andrea brushed off the drama as she prepared to party the night away with Karim, 45, whom she met on the set of her 2020 drama, Luxor.
Dressed to impress: Ellie Goulding stunned in a backless dress at Vanity Fair’s A-list Oscars soiree in Beverly Hills on Sunday
Handsome couple: If there had been an award for Best Dressed Couple, British actress Jodie Turner-Smith and Canadian husband Joshua Jackson would surely have been among the nominees when the 95th Academy Awards took place on Sunday
Beautiful: Turner-Smith, who turned heads at Vanity Fair’s Oscar party, looked stunning in a floor-length, fitted dress that inevitably drew attention to her lithe frame.
Everything Everywhere All at Once was the big winner at Sunday’s Oscars, taking home seven awards.
The American absurdist action-comedy-drama film was the night’s biggest winner at the star-studded red carpet event, winning Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Editing and Best Original Screenplay Award at the gala event at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood.
The film’s stars Michelle Yeoh, Jamie Lee Curtis and Ke Huy Quan took home the Lead and Supporting Actress awards, respectively.
In her acceptance speech, Michelle hailed her victory as a “beacon of hope and opportunity” for Asians and urged viewers at home to “dream big”.
She said: “For all the little boys and girls who look like me watching tonight. This is the beacon of hope and possibility. This is proof that you can dream big and dreams do come true.
“Ladies, don’t let anyone tell you you’re past your prime. Never give up… Thanks to the Academy, this is history in the making, thanks.”
Loving life: Florence Pugh was in high spirits as she fooled around at the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty on Sunday
Pretty in pink: Adding a zany twist to her look, Florence donned an oversized pink coat that flared out in a dramatic train and flared behind her
Cute couple: Oscar nominee Andrea Riseborough shared a sweet moment with boyfriend Karim Saleh as they attended the Vanity Fair party in Beverly Hills on Sunday
Glamorous: Andrea looked ethereal at the party in a glittery dress with a plaid print in soft shades of peach and cream
The film was quite a standout, including: All Quiet on the Western Front, Avatar: The Way of Water, The Banshees of Inisherin, Elvis, The Fabelmans, TÁR, Top Gun: Maverick, Triangle of Sadness, and Women Talking.
Meanwhile, the award for Best Actor in a Leading Role went to Brendan Fraser, who cried upon accepting his award for his work on The Whale.
He said, “So this is what the multiverse looks like. I thank the Academy for this honor and our studio A24 for such a courageous film.
“I am grateful to Darren Aronofsky for throwing me a creative lifeline and getting me aboard the good ship The Whale. It was written by Samuel D. Hunter who is our lighthouse.’
The German war film All Quiet on the Western Front also had a successful evening, taking home four of the awards it was nominated for: Best International Feature Film, Best Cinematography, Best Score and Best Production Design “.
This year’s Academy Awards – hosted by Jimmy Kimmel – performed all the nominated tracks for Best Original Song, but the award went to RRR’s Naatu Naatu.
Exemplary behavior: Naomi Campbell made sure she claimed her own share of the spotlight on Sunday night
Bold statement: She paired her dress with a stunning gold necklace, while her hair was styled with a conventional parting
