The Economic Intelligence Unit, The Economist Group's independent business unit released the list of top dollar-spending cities around the world on February 14.

Caracas appears in box number 7 and is the only one from South America to make the list in relation to Valentine's Day.

How much can a Valentine's Day trip in Caracas cost?
The study was conducted based on a quote from Valentine's Day This includes drinks in a posh hotel, a two-course meal, a trip to the cinema, a taxi ride and a bottle of wine. The above amount is worth US$596 in Shanghai, while in Paris it costs US$567; and in Damascus, the capital of Syria, it costs $8, making it the cheapest city in the world.

The study shows that you can spend an average of $493 in Caracas, the capital of Venezuela. With this information, it is ranked as the seventh most expensive city to celebrate this date and the first in Latin America.
In the United States, on the other hand, it is estimated that the person will spend money around $186 on Valentine's Day, accordingly National Retail Association (NRF).
