Just a day after making a glamorous appearance at the 2024 Golden Globes, Carey Mulligan continued to promote her awards season favorite, the Maestro.
The 38-year-old actress attended a SAG-AFTRA Foundation talks event for Maestro at London West Hollywood on Monday evening.
Mulligan received rave reviews for her portrayal of Felicia Montealegre, the longtime muse of Bradley Cooper's Leonard Bernstein, in “Maestro.”
She appeared in a black T-shirt under an oversized gray blazer for a question-and-answer session with Variety's Jazz Tangcay.
The British star wore gold rings and her blonde locks reached just below her chin.
Carey Mulligan went for casual chic as she paired an oversized gray blazer with distressed jeans at a Hollywood event to promote her film “Maestro” on Monday night
For the event, the actress completed her look with distressed blue jeans, a black belt and black pointed heel boots.
Mulligan was nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actress in a Motion Picture Drama at last night's Golden Globes.
She ultimately lost out to Lily Gladstone, the lead actress of “Killers of the Flower Moon,” who became the first Indigenous actress to win the award.
The actress was nominated alongside Annette Bening (Nyad), Cailee Spaeny (Priscilla), Greta Lee (Past Lives) and Sandra Hülser (Anatomy of a Fall).
“Maestro” is Bradley Cooper’s second directorial effort, following his directorial debut “A Star Is Born” in 2018.
The story follows legendary composer Leonard Bernstein (Cooper) and his lifelong relationship with his muse Felicia Montealegre (Mulligan).
Cooper also produced the film and co-wrote the screenplay with Josh Singer (“The Post,” “Spotlight”).
The film had a limited theatrical release over Thanksgiving weekend before being released on Netflix on December 20th.
