The journalist Carles Francino, who received an award for his career of more than 40 years behind the microphones and his professional work “particularly during and after the pandemic”, learned of the award in full broadcast of his radio show The Window that the Ondas presented. “You have to fuck yourself,” he exclaimed with his usual humor, admitting that they hadn’t told him anything about the award until that moment. The Ondas Nacionales de Radio Awards singled out El Mon a Rac 1 from the Rac 1 chain as the best program “for breaking the corsets of morning radio programs”. Radio Euskadi’s tabloid special on Basque prisons also won Best Local Program.
At a time when the consolidation of the podcast in the field of radio communication is more than defined, Ondas 2022 wanted to highlight Misterio en la Moraleja as the best in its category for its detective portrait of the contradictions from a neighborhood in Madrid’s high society.
For its part, Ondas de la Televisión singled out Andreu Buenafuente as the best presenter for Late Motiv (Movistar Plus+), which ended last December after seven seasons. In addition to the Saber y Gana program, which was highlighted for its ability to “spread culture that is not at odds with entertainment” to different generations, La que se avecina (Mediaset) was also awarded Best Comedy Series. According to the jury, this production “revolutionized comedy in Spain” by creating a “unique universe that can keep reinventing itself over the years”. In the drama category, the winner was the Atresplayer premium series Cardo.

On December 14, when the awards gala takes place, in addition to the communicators of the above shows, other winners will also be featured, such as actress Elena Rivera, who won the award for Best Female Actress in Fiction “for her versatility in handling.” with different characters” in a year in which he directed three feature films (Alba, Los heirs de la tierra and Sequía). The Best Documentary/Documentary Series award went to 800 Metros (Netflix), which commemorated the August 17, 2017 attack on Barcelona’s Ramblas. For her part, Luz Casal was awarded the Ondas for her career, while Dani Fernández received the Music Phenomenon of the Year award.
