Carlos Rivera and Cynthia Rodríguez are expecting their first child. The couple, who swore eternal love in a secret wedding in Spain in mid-2022, shared the happy news of the first pregnancy on their respective Instagram accounts, along with a tender image.

The photo features a baby blanket, blue shoes and a lion-shaped doll, which they also use to reveal the name of their firstborn.

A text will be read out next to the cute picture, thanking them for making their dream come true.

“The light of God has touched our lives and is sending us the greatest blessings from heaven along the way.”

“Full of illusion and joy we await our beloved Leon,” the couple noted.

And it is that since their relationship was made public, both Carlos Rivera and Cynthia Rodríguez have expressed their desire to start a family.

After their intimate nuptials, pregnancy rumors didn’t stop haunting the couple, who made it clear at all times that the moment their first baby was on the way, they’d take it upon themselves to cry it out to the world, right as they did on the morning of this March 28th.

Carlos Rivera and Cynthia Rodríguez started their relationship just over 7 years ago and agreed to keep it private to protect them from collateral damage that sometimes results from being in show business, so photos and joint publications are scarce.

How was Carlos Rivera and Cynthia Rodríguez’s secret wedding?

Following their wedding last July, the newlyweds were encouraged to speak more about their relationship and revealed their intentions to expand the family soon, even a year before the TV presenter shared her desire to become a mother in an emotional letter.

“I think there’s just one thing I’m missing that I’d like to see fulfilled next year: ‘Can you bring me a baby?’ I think I’m ready to start a family now,” she asked Santa.

Carlos Rivera was responsible for revealing more details about where and who witnessed his wedding.

“The wedding took place in Ribera del Duero. Our families and literally ten pairs of close friends were there, some from there and some from here. My father was there and in fact all the last photos we have with him are there. ” He confessed to ‘Window’.
