Rochester, Mich. – After collapsing on stage from heat exhaustion pine button Tuesday night, reruns for Carlo Santana said he would make a full recovery.
Santana and his wife were looking at the shops when an eagle-eyed fan spotted him and stopped to say hello.
Elizabeth Cosetta Kincaid was in the audience at Pine Knob when the legendary guitarist collapsed on stage. You can see in the video player above the video she recorded that night.
“It was how awful what’s really happening right now,” Kincaid said. “Something’s not going well.”

Kincaid was driving home on Main Street on Thursday (July 7). Rochester and not having the best days because her mother is not well.
“I checked and I’m like, ‘Let me go back around the block and see if what I’m seeing is actually what I’m seeing,'” Kincaid said.
What she thought she saw was actually what she saw when Santana and his wife, Cindy Santana, were walking.
Kincaid told him she was glad he was doing better and asked to take a picture with the couple. They were graciously obliged.
Kincaid jumped back in the car and called her husband.
“I’m on the phone with my husband and I’m like, ‘You’ll never believe who I just met and I sent him the photo,'” Kincaid said. “My husband said, ‘You’re kidding, go back and take her to dinner.'”
Kincaid said she invited Santana to dinner.
“His parting words were ‘Stay valuable,'” Kincaid said.
