Model Carol Francischini surprised her followers by revealing this Thursday (11) that she was suffering from uterine cancer. The news was accompanied by a report that she had already undergone an operation to remove the tumor at the Hospital Pro Matre in São Paulo. Carol clarified that the surgery was delayed for months, which resulted in the condition developing into a cancerous stage.

In an interview with Quem magazine, the model explained that fortunately it was not necessary to remove the uterus and that she was now in a resting phase, which is expected to last around 15 days. “I wasn't actually scared, I just wanted the wait to be over and have the operation done so I could get back to work. What worries me most is recovery,” he shared.
