Carol Vorderman showed off her toned physique in skin-tight leggings as she revealed her workout routine on Thursday.

The 62-year-old TV personality worked out with friend and personal trainer Mel Deane while the two enjoyed a light-hearted workout session.

Her black leggings hugged her enviable limbs, while her top featured a yellow abstract design to keep her looking fashion forward as she worked out.

She chose to wear her blonde tresses loose for hitting the gym, while her turquoise sneakers completed the sporty look.

Carol then shared the secrets to her incredible figure as she walked her followers step-by-step through her intense fitness routine.

The former Countdown star hit the gym with weights before squatting, using a SkiErg and sled thrust for a full-body workout.

She later showed off the results of her workout in a close-up selfie with Mel, which she captioned “sweaty bird.”

Mel kept giving her words of encouragement, telling her she was going to “smash it up” while the two engaged in some light-hearted banter.

Carol wrote alongside her post: “GYM with boss @meldeane12

“I’m starting to get a little stronger now…I can’t stop smiling after a good training session…My steering wheel gets smashed too badly on the way home!! Ha.’

Carol has recently been working to gather evidence to present to the Special Committee on Women and Equality in order to achieve better support for women.

On Wednesday, she wore a Menopause Matters t-shirt as she spoke about This Morning’s campaign ahead of her appearance in the House of Commons.

Inside the studio, presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield invited viewers to stop by and share their experiences of menopause in the workplace.

Carol revealed she had “hundreds of replies” from women who had spoken out about their symptoms and how they affected work.

To show her support, she donned a white slogan top with “This morning goes on the menopause” scrawled across the chest.

Speaking about the special committee on women and equality, she said: “It’s a cross-party group of MPs and they meet to hold the government accountable on various issues.”

“I’m part of Menopause Matters, an organization that organizes campaigns and also provides information.

“The committee made a selection of 12 points last July that the government should respond within a specific time limit. They didn’t. They waited three months and only accepted one of the twelve points.’

Complementing Tuesday’s meeting, Carol said: “This is very important because it gives women of a certain age the opportunity to share their experiences and I think that’s important.

“We have hundreds of responses from that alone and I’ll take them all, it’s not right and the government should be there to respond properly and I think there could be some very uncomfortable words today.”

In October, Carol took to her Instagram Stories to reveal she was going to Parliament and a rally to demand more action on other women.

She said: “It’s World Menopause Day and I’m walking out of Parliament and later to a rally to demand more action from the Government and the NHS against women going through the menopause.

“Because it doesn’t just affect women, it affects all of their families. It could be your wife, your sister, or someone you work with and the symptoms are the same but different.”
