Before commit suicide on Friday the 22nd Jéssica Canedo appealed to people with bad intentions to stop fomenting “so much hatred” against her after gossip site Choquei spread without evidence that the 22yearold student had an affair with comedian Whindersson Nunes earlier this week.
According to Choquei, Jéssica, who is from Minas Gerais, sent prints of an intimate conversation with Nunes to a friend, who published the texts. However, according to Jéssica and Nunes themselves, the “news” was fake. In the aftermath of the case, Jéssica killed herself with personal attacks.
“You talk about my looks, my social status, you curse my family, threaten me, call me a gold digger and compare me to his exgirlfriends,” the young woman wrote as soon as Choquei spread the fake news. “My only request is that you stop and think about the consequences of your actions.”

The creator of the profile, Raphael Sousa, has blocked his personal account on Instagram due to the controversy surrounding Jéssica's suicide.
However, before the tragic outcome of the case, Sousa made fun of Jéssica's allegedly long text. “Tell her the Enem essay is already finished,” he said. “For God's sake.”
