Her elimination aired on Wednesday’s episode, the very final week of the show, with the grand finale taking place on Sunday.
Several viewers seem disappointed that the couple consisting of Marie-Andrée and Anthony are not among the finalists. But not her.
The couple would obviously have wanted to go there and thought they deserved their place, but are adamant that nothing in life comes for free.
They found each other and that is important to them. They have just returned from three weeks together in the House of the Excluded, some of which were more difficult moments while watching the shows.
Marie-Andrée was afraid of seeing herself on screen. “It’s still weird watching yourself on TV… It’s like your friends are making a video of you and you’re like, ‘Oh, my voice!’ And 30 hours of TV is intense. And I got a little angry. If I were a spectator, I would have gotten angry,” she admits on the other end of the phone.
Aside from their voices, the two participants experienced no unpleasant surprises and still had fun following their journey on television.
Although both participants believe that the audience saw their true colors, they note that they certainly had more positive moments than what was shown on screen.
“On TV I’m still me, when I experience an emotion I experience it 100% and then we move on to something else.” But I had positive moments through it. »

“She was in a good mood from time to time,” Anthony adds with a laugh.
It is true that viewers could observe the Chicoutimian experiencing strong emotions, especially during deliriums. If Marie-Andrée thought she would be hated by the public, it was quite a surprise that awaited her when she was released.
According to comments on social networks, several people have formed a bond with her personality and the solid couple that she forms with Anthony. “I’m really surprised, I was expecting stones to be thrown at me. I am pleasantly surprised and think that after everything that happened yesterday we are receiving a beautiful wave of love,” says the nurse.
Anthony, for his part, didn’t expect his lover to be hated, but is also surprised that their relationship came across so well on television. Both are grateful for all the love.
Marie-Andrée and Anthony say they enjoyed their stay in Andalusia. The nurse will have learned a lot about herself by experiencing her vulnerability on screen and she admits her journey has been incredible.
The two participants are also very happy for their friends Mia and Simon, the latter took last place on the final trip. No matter who the winners are, Marie-Andrée and Anthony are convinced that everyone who remains is truly in love and will be happy for them.
In the next few weeks, the lovers will take some time for themselves before seeing each other again. “We want to integrate each other’s lives very quickly,” notes the carpenter.
