Exclusion from the house is one of the disappointments in life, especially when the home comfort of the creature is at a touch.

But while people could ring the doorbell or shout for help, a clever kitten took matters into its own hands.

Silvestro, a “super smart” cat, jumped into action when he and his fellow mogs were stuck in front of their front door in Caltanissetta, Sicily, Italy.

The footage shows a black and white cat jumping to grab the doorknob. He then swung at him to open the door before chillingly leading the rest of his gang across the threshold.

After pulling down the handle, Silvestro pushed the door hesitantly ... He then passes through air-cold, followed by his gang

After pulling down the handle, Silvestro hesitantly opened the door and led his friends through the front door of his home in Caltanissetta, Sicily, Italy.

This is the latest cat adventure to be shared in Tiktok by owner Antonio Bosco, 57, who shares his country home with his mother and 25 cats.

Mr Bosco said: “We had 24 cats in a month, but recently a Siamese stray cat joined our crowd of cats, making it an army of 25.

“Silvestro’s smart cat is also the undisputed leader and protector of our cats.

“Sometimes our neighbors’ cats will try to fight our cats. So then Silvestro intervenes and repels them, many times returning with bruises or bites.

“He’s a real hero, so sometimes we sing instead of calling him by his nickname, ‘Kungu l’eroe,’ a mix of King Kong and hero.

“Sylvestro understands when he did something special and knows that he will receive additional caresses on his head. I pick it up and rock it like a baby, followed by a delicacy consisting of chicken and turkey sausage.

“He is very observant and immediately notices if something is wrong with you. Honestly, he sometimes feels like the best friend you can trust.

“In particular, my mother talks a lot to our cats, and Sylvestro listens and responds. I doubt they understand each other perfectly, but the effort of communication is important! ”

Despite Silvestro’s militant attitude, Mr Bosco said he was “incredibly kind and kind to us at all times”.

He added: “So when he falls asleep and forgets to let him out at night, he will meow until I wake up and let him out.”

It turns out that Silvestro is not the only smart cat in the house and one of his friends ‘Youppie Fatass’ – the last cat seen entering the door in the video – has a habit of peeing in the toilet.

Mr Bosco’s videos earned him 3.5 million likes on TikTok, where he has 87,000 followers.

Last November, the software engineer discovered that he had become a viral sensation after sharing a video with his cats rushing smoothly through a cat’s sole flaps to be fed.

Mr Bosco said he had set up the cat flap because if he left the door open, stray dogs would come in and eat all the cat food.

His house has two kitchens – one for cats only. There is a heater for the cold winter months and 14 pillows so that everyone can snuggle together.

Mr Bosco told a fan of his video: “All cats are domesticated, neutered, [have] monthly spray against parasites and lots of food.

He added: “They are all my pets. They not only stay outside most of the day, but also sleep indoors, where we provide a heater to keep them warm in the winter.

“We also play them from time to time, but they usually prefer to stay outdoors because we’re usually outdoors doing something in the garden.

Wherever we go, they always follow us.
