The list of CBS shows returning next season is growing.
On Wednesday, the network renewed four reality shows, including Survivor, The Amazing Race, Tough as Nails and Secret Celebrity Renovation, for the 2022-23 television season.
The unrecorded quartet will join the previously announced film updates of Bob Hearts Abishola, CSI: Vegas, Ghosts, The Neighborhood and Young Sheldon. (TVLine’s 2022 renewal scorecard has the latest pickup/cancellation information across all CBS offer scenarios.)
After more than a year off the air due to COVID, Survivor returned last fall with its 41st season. Season 42 premieres tonight, and according to CBS, it promises to introduce “one of the most intense versions” of the Emmy-winning series.
As of season 41, 18 players (see the rest) to claim the Sole Survivor title and win a $1 million prize.
Wednesday’s Survivor update covers two more seasons (43 and 44).
The Amazing Race will enter its 34th season, while Hard Nails and Celebrity Secret Update will enter their 4th and 2nd seasons, respectively.
