Celebrity Great British Bake Off is set to return to screens this Sunday and as usual some of the contestants get on nerves as they crack under the pressure.
In Sunday’s episode, actor David Schwimmer, 56, former friends, and a host of other famous faces are tasked with creating a meringue centerpiece as part of the showstopper challenge.
But when it comes to construction, David has an unusual way of fixing and assembling his.
The American frantically sprays his rabbit creation with something from the can and says: “Come on freeze spray, do your stuff!”
He then turns to the camera and explains, “I’m going to freeze it and hopefully that will be the glue.”
I’m fine: Legendary Friends actor David Schwimmer, 56, was commissioned to create a meringue centerpiece as part of the Showstopper challenge
Bob the Builder: When building his center piece, David chose to use freeze spray to attach and assemble his showstopper, hoping it would work similar to glue
Later in the show, David was seen attempting to lift his fragile bunny using a giant silver disc, but failed in his attempt when one of the ears snapped off immediately.
Cursing under his breath, the legendary star lets out a long, held breath as if to calm himself.
Elsewhere, fellow actor Tom Davis, 43, is having an equally messy time trying to get his meringue out of a bowl.
The Plebs actor comments: “This is a nightmare.
“I’m worried, I won’t lie. Yes, that won’t work, I can already feel it cracking.’
He then takes his meringue bowl, turns it upside down and curses when it promptly breaks, breaking off a whole chunk.
The celebrity special benefiting Stand Up To Cancer features a total of 20 familiar faces who will all compete to become Star Bakers.
They include former Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson, New Zealand comedian Rose Matafeo, Loose Women’s Judi Love and Coleen Nolan, Olympian Tom Daley and reality star Gemma Collins.
