BOSTON – The Milwaukee Bucks and Boston Celtics are meeting for the first time this season and Wednesday night’s game at TD Garden has some implications. Boston’s MVP candidate Jayson Tatum appeared on the injury report with a non-COVID illness following the Celtics’ shootout on Wednesday. The 25-year-old had played in every game so far and leads the Celtics in scoring (28.2 points per game) and rebounding (9.0), and Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla said before the game that Tatum would do warm-ups and would make a decision. He went through his routine and was upgraded by the Celtics to play against the Bucks.
