The largest multisport event in the region, just below the Pan American Games, once again brings together the best athletes from 37 countries and 53 disciplines in two weeks full of competition, emotions and records. Millions of fans await the days when they can see the sport’s big stars in action, such as Venezuelan champion Yulimar Rojas, who will compete in the triple jump; the Mexican Olympian Alexa Moreno, who aspires to triumph in artistic gymnastics; the Colombian laureate Mariana Pajon in BMX cycling; and Cuban history Julius Cesar de la Cruz (boxing) e Idalys Ortiz (Judo).

When do the 2023 Central American Games start?
The XXIV edition of the Central American and Caribbean Games 2023 begins this Friday, June 23rd and runs through Saturday, July 8th. However, some competitions will start as early as this Wednesday, June 21st.
