The mother of journalist César Tralli, Edna Vantini Tralli, 74, died this Sunday afternoon (9) in a plane crash at the Jurumirim Dam in Paranapanema (261 km from SP).

According to the civil police, the amphibious aircraft they occupied had completely destroyed the front part. The plane’s pilot, Euclides Brosch, 78, also died in the accident. He had a driver’s license for the vehicle.

Military Police reported being called at 4:14 p.m. to respond to a plane crash at Jurumirim Dam.

When the PMs arrived at the scene, they discovered Brosch’s body and found Edna’s body taped to the plane’s hardware about 700 meters from the edge of the causeway.

The small plane, model Super Petrel LS100, has two seats.

According to the fire department, the exact time of the plane crash is not known. The circumstances under which the accident occurred are being investigated by the Civil Police of the Interior of São Paulo.

The case report states that no cases of wind or severe weather have been detected in the area. The police document indicates that the weather was “good”, with sunshine and “good visibility”. The water of the dam was also calm.

So far, the police do not know whether the plane had its papers up to date, whether it had a flight plan or which departure and destination locations.

Anac (National Civil Aviation Agency) was informed of the accident.

In a social network, moderator Ticiane Pinheiro, Edna’s daughterinlaw, mourned her death. “Go in peace motherinlaw. I already miss your hug, your affection, our conversations and your love. I will love you forever,” he shared.
