CF Montreal acquired Bulgarian-Canadian midfielder Dominik Yankov from Ludogoretz Razgrad, a club in the Bulgarian premier league, on Monday.
The Toronto native signed a three-year contract with Bleu-Blanc-Noir. His contract also includes option years for the 2027 and 2028 campaigns.

The 23-year-old scored 15 goals and provided 14 assists in 128 games for Ludogoretz Razgrad. He contributed to the team's four consecutive Bulgarian championships (2019–2023), as well as a Bulgarian Cup (2023) and a Bulgarian Super Cup (2022).
Yankov began his career at the age of 13 in the Toronto Power FC academy before heading to Europe to join Sunderland's academy in England.
