CF Montreal is at the bottom of sportico.com’s ranking of the 152 teams in North America’s five major professional sports leagues.
The Quebec club is worth $390 million, which is $10 million less than the penultimate team, Colorado Rapids.
Major League Soccer (MLS) teams lag far behind in the rankings, which combine all teams in the NFL, NBA, Major League Baseball, and National Hockey League (NHL).
Los Angeles FC is the dominant team in the Garber Circuit, valued at $900 million. Unsurprisingly, the Dallas Cowboys top the list with $9.28 billion.
In addition, the NFL clubs are all represented in the top 40. The Cincinnati Bengals bring up the rear at $4 billion.
Rounding out the top three are the Golden State Warriors ($7.56 billion) and the New York Yankees ($7.13 billion).
As for the NHL, the Toronto Maple Leafs ($2.12 billion) are first in their league but 66th overall. The Montreal Canadiens ($1.78 billion) are in 79th place.
The Arizona Coyotes ($465 million) are the least valuable in the NHL. Only five MLS teams trail behind them in the standings, including, of course, CF Montreal.
