Goalie Carey Price has moved west, but that hasn’t stopped him from returning to the Montreal area, and young attendees at a hockey camp can attest to that.
The hockey players in attendance at Canadiens Hockey School this week received plenty of advice from familiar faces on the team and even a surprise guest. On Wednesday, number 31 showed up at the Brossard sports complex to chat with his admirers and sign a few autographs, something the youngsters weren’t expecting. With bright eyes and a stunned face, they greeted Price as he took the stage to speak to them.
In addition to the number 31, forwards Nick Suzuki and Josh Anderson also traveled to the camp on Thursday. Juraj Slafkovsky, who played at this school in 2014, acted as an occasional coach on Tuesday.
