Canadian youth player David Reinbacher from Montreal, who currently plays for EHC Klöten, was injured during a game on Friday.
The fifth overall pick in the last National League draft was checked in the first third of a duel against HC Fribourg. The defender lost his balance and crashed into the boards.

Reinbacher had difficulty recovering. He then attempted to return to the game but ultimately had to throw in the towel and return to the locker room. At this point we don’t know how serious his injury was.
David Reinbacher left the game in the first period and came out again towards the end of the quarter. However, he was not used in the second third.
Kloten trailed 2-0 at the break and trailed 4-0 at halftime of the game.

The 18-year-old played his third game of the season in the Swiss League A. Last year he scored three goals and 19 assists for 22 points in 46 games in this district.
