The Montreal Canadiens recalled defenseman Mattias Norlinder from the Laval Rocket on Tuesday.
Due to the injury to fullback Jordan Harris, the CH brought back a player from its American League farm club. The latter is suffering from a lower body injury and will be out of the game indefinitely.

Norlinder, a third-round pick by the Habs in the 2019 draft, has six games of experience in the National League. He received this hearing during the 2021-2022 election campaign. He collected one assist in the best ice hockey league in the world.
With the Rockets in the 2023-2024 season, Norlinder collected one goal and one assist for two points in 14 games. He also maintained a -15 differential.
