His move away from cult literature allowed him to continue his career in television. Fans could find him in around ten television series, including Chosen, Agent Carter and Riverdale, as well as numerous Christmas television films. Based on a work by Robyn Carr, author of the Virgin River novels, Sullivan’s Crossing follows the story of Maggie Sullivan, a talented neurosurgeon who is arrested by the police after being honored by the Boston medical community. Accused of negligence, the young woman decides to leave the city to settle in her home region, where her father still lives, with whom she does not have good relations. There she soon meets Cal Jones, a newcomer with whom she quickly forms a bond. Chad Michael Murray plays Scott Patterson, whom he met 23 years earlier on the set of Gilmore Girls. Actors Morgan Kohan (When Hope Calls), Tom Jackson (Outlander), Dakota Taylor (Never Cold in Eyes), Andrea Menard (Blackstone) and Reid Price (The Sinner) complete the cast of Sullivan’s Crossing.
