Channel Seven’s new reality show Blow Up failed to wow fans.

The whimsical competition, in which balloon artists challenge each other with exotic creations for a cash prize, flopped in Monday’s over-night ratings.

Hosted by comedians Stephen Curry and Becky Lucas, the premiere of the acclaimed “Blow Up” drew a meager 288,000 in major theaters.

Based on a Dutch format, “Blow Up” just barely made the top 20 most watched shows of the night, finishing at #1.19.

Meanwhile, the popular soap Home and Away, also on Seven, continued its strong season, drawing in a whopping 473,000 Metro viewers.

The quiz show attracted an impressive 582,000 viewers across the capitals.

Over on Channel 10, Monday’s episode of MasterChef drew a strong 552,000 ratings.

However, the big win of 10 overnight went to Have You Been Paying Attention?

The popular quiz show, hosted by comedian Tom Gleisner, features a cast of comedians being tested on the week’s news and racked up a whopping 633,000 underground ratings overnight.

The Survivor-style reality show, in which contestants race to the top of a mountain for a million dollar cash prize, garnered 1,000 viewers and achieved a Metro rating of 400,000.

Nine won the evening with an audience share of 27.2 percent

Seven, meanwhile, took a very close second place, managing to captivate 25.1 percent of the available audience.

Channel 10 was third with an impressive 21.9 percent of viewers, while ABC was fourth with 17.9 percent.
