According to royal expert Kinsey Schofield, King Charles III. Harry and Meghan Markle weren’t stripped of their royal titles for fear of the impact it would have after the Netflix series. Requests to delete the titles should be ignored as they are like “petrol fire”.
In an interview with Express, the ToDiForDaily founder admitted that she would love to see the royal family make this move, but added that it would be bad for the royals’ image.
“I wish they would consider retiring the titles from Sussex, but from a PR perspective, I recognize that Harry and Meghan have done an excellent job monetizing victimization and retiring the titles would only result in a second season of ‘ Harry and Meghan’ on Netflix. ” he said.
If the idea went ahead, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex said they could heighten their criticism of the royal family.
“It would burn gasoline and allow Harry and Meghan to keep attacking. Also, Meghan would probably start introducing herself as Princess Meghan to continue the Princess Diana comparisons,” he said.
In the interview, Kinsey Schofield emphasized from her point of view that the couple could pose a threat to the monarchy, especially after the revelations in the Netflix docuseries.
“I know royal observers want the Sussexes to stay away and certainly the king will be warned they pose a risk to the monarchy as long as Harry and Meghan are in this toxic mind space.”
