King Charles III succeeds his mother to the throne. Elizabeth II died on September 8, 2022, leaving a vacant seat on the side of Buckingham Palace. But it seems his son, who will be officially crowned on May 6, 2023, isn’t too keen on the idea of ensuring all the missions that fall to the British monarch. Cameras rolled as they greeted each other with great courtesy and footwork as the sovereign exclaimed, “So you’re still here. My god, my god… whatever”. However, their encounter had its meaning.

King Charles III will have to get into the habit of receiving his colleague, since a private audience is traditionally scheduled between them every week. However, this isn’t the first time Charles has shown impatience with his royal duties. Many still remember his nervous breakdown when he tried in vain to sign a book with a moody pen.
