Charlie Sheen was attacked by a neighbor in his Los Angeles home, police said.

British broadcaster Sky News reports that the former Two and a Half Men star's neighbor has been arrested and accused of attacking the actor. She is expected to appear in court this Friday.

According to Sky News, the incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon this week. Police confirmed: “Upon contacting those involved, officers identified Charlie Sheen as the victim of an assault.”

The accused woman's name was Electra Schrock. She was arrested on charges of assault and residential burglary with a deadly weapon.

TMZ reports that she allegedly forced her way into Sheen's home when he opened the door, ripped his shirts and tried to strangle him. Sheen was reportedly uninjured in the incident.
