Charlotte steals the show as Princess holds Prince William’s hand on Easter Sunday arrival | Royal | news

Her performance at the Easter service is young Charlotte’s second public appearance in three weeks after winning the hearts of royal fans at a memorial service dedicated to her late great-grandfather, Prince Philip. Today the princess was spotted in a floral spring dress with a pretty navy blue cardigan as she headed to church.

Fans who took to Twitter complimented the princess.

Patricia Hogson said: “Charlotte has the pretty cheeks and smile of the Queen… beautiful children and very nicely dressed… loves traditional dress.”

Older brother George emulated his father by wearing a navy blue suit.

The Duchess of Cambridge matched her daughter’s colors by wearing a pastel blue coat with a darker hat.

The Queen, who suffers from mobility issues, is absent from the service, which is a regular part of the royal calendar.

The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall, who represented the Queen at the Royal Maundy service in the same chapel on Thursday, will also not attend the Easter Sunday service.
