Since its launch in late 2022, ChatGPT has achieved overwhelming success worldwide. The intelligent chatbot has passed the milestone of 100 million monthly active users just two months after going live. Building on this colossal success, OpenAI, the start-up behind artificial intelligence, has decided to do it generate money by creating it. To achieve this, the American company has launched a paid subscription for chatbot fans, ChatGPT Plus. Initially reserved for the United States, the offer has just settled in France. What are the benefits of ChatGPT Plus?

How much does ChatGPT Plus subscription cost?
OpenAI offers ChatGPT Plus at a price of $24.20 per month, or around €22.50 in France. The start-up from San Francisco shows on its website the price excluding VAT, which is common and legal practice in the United States. The interface shows a round price of $20.

Please note that the monthly subscription price is expected to fluctuate each month depending on the euro and dollar exchange rates. OpenAI also states in its Terms of Service that it reserves the right to review its prices in the future.
How do I subscribe to ChatGPT Plus?
To subscribe to ChatGPT Plus, simply go to the OpenAI website and log in with your credentials. This will give you access to the interface that will allow you to dialogue with the conversational robot. You should see a box labeled on the left toolbar “Upgrade to Plus”. If you click on it, you will open a window that offers the benefits of the paid formula over the free version. Press “Upgrade Plan” to access the Stripe payment page.
All you have to do is enter your credit card details (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, etc.) to pay for your subscription. OpenAI will automatically bill you for your plan amount on the same date each month.
