Roman Reigns uses bloodline

The Bloodline saga reached new heights at the WWE Night of Champions.

Bryan Alvarez and Dave Meltzer discussed the latest storyline and its future direction on Wrestling Observer Radio on Sunday.

In the Night of Champions finale, Jimmy Uso attacked Roman Reigns after Reigns angrily punched his brother Jey in the face. Although Jey seemed stunned by what Jimmy was doing, he ultimately left without choosing sides.

“Jey didn’t say which side he’s on,” Meltzer said. “Jimmy and Roman broke up. Jey is in the middle, and that’s where everything seems to be… it seems that first (the fights we’re going to see) Roman vs. Jimmy are fought, then Jey has to make a decision.

What happened sets up a new match for Roman Reigns and could be the start of many new matches as Bloodline continues to implode.

“We sidestepped Cody for a while, Roman is clearly going to go up against Jimmy, then Roman and Sikoa up against Ambos Usos, then you could go back to Roman vs. Cody…they have years of history,” Alvarez said. Meltzer added that the ultimate goal still appears to be Roman vs. Sikoa.

Meltzer went on to opine that Reigns should be the person to get pinned at Night of Champions, and Bryan stated that he should be the one to “miss” since Reigns had said he was going to win the tag team titles would since he was pinned by Sami Zayn. This could also potentially position another fight against Zayn, even if it’s televised.
