Chenoa will be the presenter of Amazon Prime Video’s “Operation Triumph.” Raul Rodriguez
Chenoa was not part of the trio of finalists in the first edition of Operación Triunfo, but has since become one of the most well-known and present participants on television. Amazon Prime Video announced this Saturday that she will be returning to Operación Triunfo as presenter for the next season. The singer’s return to space will premiere later this year exclusively on the digital platform in Spain and in more than 30 countries and territories of Latin America.
Since 2016, Chenoa has combined her musical career with her work in television and radio. Since leaving Operación Triunfo Academy, he has released nine albums and collaborated with artists such as Ricardo Arjona, Andrea Bocelli, Sergio Dalma, Carlos Baute and Gloria Trevi. He also appeared in many television formats. The greatest impact has been his work as a judge on Tu cara suena me, a competition he has participated in for six years and is currently in its tenth season. She took part in Amazon Prime Video’s Celebrity Bake Off Spain show in 2021 and took part in other popular TV shows like Zapeando, Likes and La Noche D.
In its version for digital platforms, Operación Triunfo will maintain a good part of the momentum that has made it one of the most watched programs in the history of Spanish television. It is about a group of participants who attend a music academy to train and prove their talent as singers and performers. Each week, the participants have to compete with a live audience at a gala and demonstrate their skills on stage. The room will be the first weekly live content to premiere on Prime Video in Spain.
“We’re not going to do the usual ‘OT’, it’s going to get bigger and better,” the platform’s executives announced a few weeks ago when confirming the signing of the format for their catalogue. Produced with Gestmusic, the new edition will feature live weekly galas and a 24-hour channel on YouTube.
